I’m a data scientist. I live in Vancouver, BC, and I currently work at Meta in the area of Trust and Safety, and I’ve been working in this field since early 2020. I write a lot about R, programming, data science topics that may or may not relate to my work. More recently, I wrote a lot about LLMs and AI.

Where to find me

I am most active on Bluesky; the best way to find me day-to-day is there. I have published some of my more polished long-form pieces to Medium. In January of 2026, I gave up X, but I have left my profile up as it sadly contains quite a lot of information that I would like to keep, like old AI experiments that continue to serve as useful historical examples for my contemporary AI research.
